Players, parents, officials and volunteers are encouraged to attend HACT’s information sessions, run throughout the season, to learn about any new rules and current interpretation of rules for the 2014 season.
It is important for players to understand how umpires have been briefed on the use of the rules. Many disagreements and misunderstandings happen on the field because players don’t understand the rules or their interpretation in a practical setting.
Time: 6.30 pm to 8.00 pm
If you are unable to attend this session please make sure you attend one of Hockey ACT’s sessions throughout the season.
Both HACT’s JOEY Program and QUHC Mentoring Program will be available for those who are interested in learning to umpire or develop their umpiring skills. For further information please contact Mark Unwin on 0419 485 385.
